At the Australian Health Policy Collaboration she coordinates the chronic disease program which aims to improve accountability and action on preventing chronic diseases in Australia.
She has a PhD, from Deakin University, in food security and nutrition inequities.
Sharleen is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian (AdvAPD) who believes in bridging the gap between research and practice so that more people can live healthier lives without chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Her focus is on improving the implementation of evidence-based guidelines in the real world as a research translation dietitian.
