Councillor Mathew Dickerson was born and bred in Dubbo and is married with four children. He is a highly successful and prominent businessman with extensive management experience. Councillor Dickerson is a passionate public speaker and his extensive knowledge of business and technology has seen him deliver presentations as a keynote speaker at dozens of national and international conferences, seminars and other events. An elected member of Council since 2004, Councillor Dickerson served as Deputy Mayor between 2005 and 2007, and again in 2010. He was elected Mayor in September 2011. This is his fourth term as Mayor.
